Check out some fine and dandy dinner theatre going on at the Blethering Place Tea Room in Oak Bay. Two one act plays will featured tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. Each play, one called "The Last Act is a Solo" and the other called "Bed Among the Lentils" will also be playing on Nov. 3,10 and 17. Tickets are available at the Blethering Place, or call Jean Topham at 598-1413, or leave a message with Toba Productions at 592-8718. A percentage of the proceeds for the show will go to support the local Victoria branch of the SPCA. The Oak Bay bonfire will be lit in Fireman's Park at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31 to celebrate Halloween. There will be no fireworks display at the bonfire this year. There will also be a costume parade put on by the Oak Bay Kiwanis Club starting at 6:30 p.m. in front of the Scout Hall. Hot dogs, pop, popcorn and candy will be provided to all children in costume.
