Lakeridge Winery and Vineyards will host its 15th annual Holiday Open House from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 11 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 12 at the winery, 19239 U.S. Highway 27, north of Clermont. The holiday event will feature more than 65 crafters and artisans displaying original works both days. Live jazz and holiday music will accompany wine and food in a festive atmosphere. Free guided winery tours and wine sampling will be available. The Eustis Historical Museum and Preservation Society will present an antique-appraisal clinic from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Eustis Community Center, 601 Northshore Drive. Appraisers will accept books, autographs, rugs, art, photographs, toys, tools, postcards, Civil War weapons, furniture, glassware, Goebel and Hummel figurines, jewelry, silver, Florida memorabilia, pop art and sports memorabilia. The Central Florida Woman's Club and the Leesburg Public Library will sponsor an antique-appraisal fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 5 in the Multi-Ministry Building at Morrison United Methodist Church, 1005 W. Main St., Leesburg. Bring your coins, currency, collectibles, toys, dolls, china, crystal, sterling, art, bronzes, jewelry, military memorabilia and antique weaponry. Professionals will conduct the appraisals. The cost is $5 per item or set of items. Proceeds will be divided between the Leesburg Public Library and the Fruitland Park Public Library. The Lake County Horsemen's Association will meet at 7 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Kenneth A. Bragg Public Safety Complex, Tavares. This group of equine enthusiasts is dedicated to the pursuit of good horsemanship, and the goal is to educate and encourage Lake County residents to achieve a better understanding of horses and horsemanship and to preserve their history and future.
